Teria Birlon realized at an early age that she loved to create and tell stories. Growing up you could often find her at home in a corner formulating scenes and acting them out with an all-star cast…………her dolls!
Her first performance on the stage was in an elementary school play called Sacagawea
in which she played the title role. After the curtain call, she ran up to her mother and told her, “I want to do that again!”
And that’s just what she did. Teria began honing her craft in elementary, middle and high school plays as well as church plays in her community. She obtained a B.A. from Alabama State University’s well renowned theatre department and an M.F.A. from University of Washington’s prestigious Professional Actor Training Program. Teria was also one of ten actors accepted into the Guthrie Theatre Experience for actors in training.
Teria has landed T.V. and Film roles in shows such as, “The Rosa Parks Story,” “Heartland,” “Life,” “The Young and the Restless,” and the hit feature film, “Think Like A Man”.
Teria’s main goal is to create thought provoking and inspiring work that regardless of race, creed or color stirs the emotions, inspires the soul and awakens the mind while exploring issues at the HEART of the human experience.
